I'm surprised more M62 pre-vanos swaps are not out there. Seriously heavy duty torque and pretty impressive HP can be made with these, especially if one strokes it with commonly availalble factory parts. Can easily be run on simple standalones too, or, wiring is easy for stock computers....the earlier M60's even having Miller WAR chip tune-ability I believe.
S62 is more likely, as its front sumped, flashes are out there, but still not cheap.
Just as I can supply software flashes for the s54 swap, I can do it for the S62. It's almost the exact same software and DME. And I have chips for M60 swaps or can perform a remote tune if required.
I was looking around some wondering, "why don't more people swap in LS's?"
And then I found the thread where the guy had to swap to a hydroboosted brake setup and relocate it to behind the headlight through a linkage system running through the frame.
Has anyone figured out a better solution, or is that the best way to do it?
