Would be at least that. I shipped a 400lb engine/crate to just north of you on an LTL freight 2yrs ago at $760.

I quoted the freight to Atlanta and it was $300, for Cali is $1,600.

So I can do around $3,000 shipped almost anywhere in the south, southeast and east cost US.

1. What year is the motor?

2. If it's an '01 to '03 motor do you know if the rod bearing recall was done?

3. Did you ever see the motor actually run? Any compression or leak down numbers?

Not bashing, just making sure someone is actually getting a good deal here. I've had two "great" deals on S54s that ended up costing me an extra $700 -1,000 each....

I understand your concern but remember Im want $2700 plus $1000 (worst case) = $3700 for a s54 with transmission, ecu, trans ecu, pump harness. In ebay the lowest I have seen the engine alone is $3500 plus shipping.

I haven't done any test on the engine because is on a engine stand, I did manage to turn the engine a couple of turns with a ratchet without any problems.


**I also bough front and rear subframes, control arms, driveshaft, rear diff that were all installed on a 330 that Luis knows without any problem.
