Someone just sent me a link to an online store (Garagistic) selling harnesses that resemble mine asking if I make those too. No, those are not mine. My harnesses are only available from me directly and occasionally on eBay under username "TekE30" only. Garagistic, or whoever is making them, has done a good job copying the appearance of my harnesses, but the wire sizes are completely wrong. There is also no way to tell how they are wired. Therefore those harnesses may not function as expected and may be dangerous to use.

hey quick question... is the terminal 30h powered only when the ignition is on? I checked with my multimeter with ignition on AND off and i have ZERO volts at it.
issue that happened, while driving, negative cable came off, killed the car, it cranks but wont turn over, INPA cant find the DME.. not a single fuse blown, nota single relay is bad, grounds are good.. DME is reading fine under bench testing.. and PIN 23 has continuity just when when isolated directly to ground from DME side..
im thinking this 30h terminal on the starter is dead now, because i have zero volts for it on or off ignition.. i checked for continuity of the wire that runs from 30h to PIN 25 on the X20 round connector and its fine too.
EDIT: correction PIN 15 not 25Last edited by Th3 shifty; 08-16-2018, 03:25 PM.

and this wire on pin 15, the supplies power or turns on the DME relay?

He will thank you, I'm sure.

A. No. Quality will remain the same. You will receive the same high quality components used on a harness purchased at regular price.
Q. Are you outsourcing the manufacture or hiring minions who will work at low wages?
A. No. All of my harnesses will continue to be manufactured by myself in Oregon.
Q. What do you do with the funds generated from harness sales?
A. I use the proceeds to fund my E30 & Defender 90 restoration projects and some of the money is donated to support local environmental and conservation efforts such as Friends of the Columbia Gorge and Oregon State University’s Marine Mammal Institute.
