Plug and Play S54 and S62 Wiring Adapter Harnesses from Harvey Racing

    *Updated 15 April 2025*

Hello! I decided to resume making plug and play wiring adapter harnesses. They will become available in May 2025. They will be available for immediate shipment. No more lead times! There will no longer be custom orders since they will be pre-made. They will be available to order on a new website or you can contact me directly. Credit cards will be accepted on the website, as well as Zelle, and cash in-person. PayPal is no longer accepted. I will updated this thread when orders resume.

Adapter harnesses are planned for the following configurations:
-S54 for E30 (with and without 20-pin diagnostic port)
-S54 for E36 CANbus version (OBD1/Euro and OBD2, with and without 20-pin diagnostic port)
-S62 for E30 (with and without 20-pin diagnostic port)
-S62 for E36 CANbus version (OBD1/Euro and OBD2, with and without 20-pin diagnostic port)

I may make a limited number of others such as S62 for E31.

To simplify construction I will make extra parts such as the oil temperature sensor connector for E30 M3 a separate part that can be added.

    Features for S54 & S62 adapter harnesses:
    -Electronic accelerator pedal connector
-Coolant temperature sensor connector (for instrument cluster gauge)
    -Fuel pump relay wiring
    -Switch for sport mode
-OBD2 port for diagnostics (excluding USA 96+ E36 that already have an OBD2 port)
-Power for ABS from DME relay (1990+ E30s)
    -Splashproof fuse holders
-Power adapter cable for B+ junction
    -Labeled connectors and detailed instructions
-Optional configuration: 20-pin diagnostic port for communication with body control modules (ABS, instrument cluster, etc).

Examples of the adapter harnesses I make:

S54 for E30 (this updated version puts fuel pump relay in stock location under M3 harness cover):

    S62 for E30 M3:

S54 for OBD2 E36 with wires to connect to Z3M instrument cluster (this updated version puts fuel pump relay mounted in stock location on side of fuse box):

Awesome service. What's the core charge if I don't have a harness to provide you with?

I actually don't need a harness from you unless you'd like to have one adapted that will not reach your ECU mounting location. I can provide you with a new Z3 harness for $500. Slightly less for an E46 harness (I just found one for $279 although you can probably do better).

I am really really keen to the idea of an aluminum block m54 in a 2002.

Hypothetically speaking, it should be easier?

I want one! Might have to order one before you stop making them.

Funny thing is, I don't have an e30 yet :( Planning and still looking at E30M available and don't want to spend over $18k if I don't have too :( LOL
