Bump, why are my wires so short?

I flipped the rubber part and I can fit all the wires through the hole in the firewall, but a few of the connectors are super short. Some of them only protrude into the cabin by a few inches. Definitely not nearly as far as in bmwfanz picture. And that's with the cables draped directly over the engine, not in the black plastic cover for wiring some people use that sits above the engine (which i bought and would like to use). What gives?

Actually effect of braking depends on master cylinder, not on booster. Bigger booster make pedal softer, with less volume booster its stiffer than stock so for good braking you need more pressure on pedal. MK2 booster works fine for me. But you need some calculations for brake balance to exclude rear wheels blocking

How do you like it, I heard that is good, and also the 2002 booster, how is the feel? I will be going to E46 M3 brakes so that should help the feel a bit but curious how it runs.

I did it as well, worked for my E36 swap. I didn't get pictures of flipping part of the S54 harness to make it reach, but here are a few others.

    Gutted E36 harness:

E36 and S54 harnesses merged together:

Running wires for throttle/sport button & light/etc. through un-used pins on E36 connector:

(almost) final product. Ignore the messy O2 wiring, disconnected SAP, and few bits that still need to be re-loomed:

Thanks, Andrew!) I would prefer your plug and play wire, but previous owner of my car ruined the harness , so there was no idea how to do it except custom work)

Ummm I think what you have is a harness from the Zs54 sir cause there's no way the e46m harness easily reaches the glovebox.
