    What booster is this?

Finishing up collecting all the parts for my build, I came across this intake that is being sold on the board. I am considering buying for two reasons, one it solves my intake question, and 2 it looks like it helps with the booster area.

Does anyone know what booster this is? I know its probably hard to tell from the pic but if anyone knows that would be awesome!

Its the guy who is making the intakes, but he has a ton posted and this is not their car its just one of their customers.

He is going to look back and see if he can find who's car that is and ask them, but figured I would try here too.

Looks like it is VW Jetta booster. I have one from 1997 Jetta and it looks the same.

          Your options are pretty much:
          2002
          E21 320i
          Hydro boost set up
          Booster delete plate
          Wilwood/Tilton masters and pedal box
          Ford mpv
          George metro or suzuki sidekick
          944
Golf mkii (not the US version)
          Renault Clio
          Something custom

I figured it out it was from a Renault Clio.

That's tiny! Probably notched over to the right as well. You could run a vacuum reserve canister to help with brake assist with such a small booster. I had to do the same with the 320 booster in my s52 e30.

I like the idea you had of using the 325ix booster slightly moved. I am wondering how it would work with the above intake.

Either that or use a 944 booster.

Audi booster/masters are pretty small, I have used them on s52 swaps, not sure if they would work on s54.

When I ran my CSL replica intake, we had to modify the bottom of the plenum a good bit, with the booster moved over. The CSL plenum is much bulkier than the factory plenum.

The boosters are 9", Same with the Porche 944, MK2 Golf (Non US) and the Clio too, But the Clio may just be a lower profile too.

Here is a picture of mine with no airbox, this is a 9" Mk2 Golf booster, it has been notched about 1" diagonally to the left side and down. It clears the S54 airbox by 5mm or so.

Still room to fit the 750iL MC and use the OEM reservoir.

How does it feel with the Mk2 booster? I will also have larger brakes, I will be running E46 M3 brakes front and rear.

To be honest the 750 Master Cylinder makes the pedal feel way too hard with bigger brakes. I'd go back but I binned it, plus I'd have to bend brake lines again.

Before this I just had an M52, with this booster and e30 brakes / MC, it was perfectly fine, you do notice the slight loss in brake assist though. But smaller booster with a bigger MC makes it feel almost like manual brakes.
