S54 Custom Oil Pan BMP Conversions

So it seems Tyler @ ArcAsylum disappeared.

And BMP Conversions just may have your answer. I saw this on their Facebook page, and it looks like they have made a few versions. Not sure which is current, or how the pan is modified, or how the ackerman is affected due to placement of the rack, not sure how far forward it is of the knuckle point.

    Here's their Facebook

    And Website

No affiliation. Best of luck with your builds. BTW if you need DME coding, check my sig. No one should pay for swap coding anymore. I'll also offer to walk you through via a remote session.

Is this just the subframe? Seems like only part of the equation.

This is from 2016, but looking at their FB page, they seem very competent.

With that subframe you don’t need to make any other modifications to the engine at all.

Really? Because that pic that R3X3N posted definitely has a modified oil pan.

I am possibly wanting a spare setup as I have another that can be made, and I would hate to wait all too long to install a solution. I may contact them later, but this weekend is another weekend working on the car.

? Again with the pics I posted, the oil pan is modified. He might have a newer design, and some others have posted designs that do not require modification to the oil pan, but to keep the correct ackerman, the oil pan will need to be modified, or to change the pickup points at the knuckles.

                            That steering geometry is just..............wrong.

Hmm... Was anything done to the suspension to compensate for moving the rack forward like that? Youre going to get some funky handling with that setup.
