Kassel & stagefp seem to be the leaders in the US for n52 tuning. There are a few places that show they can do an ews delete. If we can open up use of the msv80 dmes as well as the msv70 that should help for swaps. The e70 x5 with the n52 uses a relay for the fuel pump so that would eliminate needing an ekps for the swap.

Kassel is a rip off, he wants $1000 to flash your MSV70 to swap coding plus tune. I am getting into MSV70 tuning for swaps, will charge much less.
Bimmerlabs offers msv70 ews delete & 3 stage tunes as well. There is no charge for the 3 stage tune, not sure about the ews delete. There are so few n52 cars running around that at this point the real benefit is still shared knowledge. If everyone is using the same program version dme than maps & even a xdf for tunerpro could be shared.
I dont think there are any good solutions for the ac compressor on signal at this time, so some form of can trasnlator will be needed for that. M54 z3's had it in the cluster & the ac button was just a cluster input. That was a good solution for s54 e36 swaps, nothing off the shelf exists for e30s though.
I emailed bimmerlabs and never got a response. Got my ECU back from 22RPD this week but it will still be a while before I get the engine back in to see how it works.
Judging by how often their security certificates are expired I don't think bimmerlabs is well monitored. But with a Vin you can download the files they have for 2 "projects" I pulled the 3 stage tune from their site for when I find one at the u pull for my e91
I have been reading the thread on e90post I cloned my msv70 dme that nando created under his account there. Lots of good information about how how they were able to figure out msv70 & progress on msv80. Apparently bimmerlabs is Nando's website so maybe the lack of response here & there maybe related. Hopefully he has not moved on to something else as his knowledge & willingness to share is very rare in bmw tuning

Nando will never come back he is not that big of a BMW enthusiast, the guy hated me since day one, I was the fist one to offer swap tuning for our cars, he then just banned me for no reason, and I was registered here as HakenTT. I can tell you for sure Nando is not a good person
Flashing DME’s isn’t his full time job, or his part time job. Sometimes he’s available and sometimes he’s busy. I think Adam’s just looking for solutions for when he’s busy.

Hokay, this is gonna be a rant. There you go slandering someone again and providing false information.
To set the record straight, nando is a good person, can confirm on multiple occasions.
Thing is, I don't even need to defend his name because your reputation is the one that is tarnished.
You got banned multiple times on multiple forums because of how abrasive you are and how you say things about others.
You'd think after as long as you have been on BMW forums you'd learn from your reputation and history and change your tune. Ha, puns.
It's an ego thing clearly, you are somehow above everyone else for some reason.
The funny thing is, this isn't the first time I've even called you out on your tone and general lack of decency when talking to people.
You semi-recently banned me from your local facebook group when I did call you on this, but wasn't even wrong or honestly that disrespectful considering your responses.
You have this weird obsession with hating on some people, quite a few are local, and have even said that I was using a fake account and I'm another person... yet I am clearly not.
I don't need to be unbanned from your local group, but if you did we could talk and have an actual adult conversation, but I doubt that will happen.
Your behavior simply isn't conducive to you getting along with people when you write what you write. If you reflect on this, you'll see it too.
I've said it a few times via the bookface, in your own group - if you weren't the way you are, you'd actually be an asset. Just stop hating on others - it truly could be that simple.
Since you are local, and again - I'm not wrong in what I've said, but I am also not trying to beef.
I'm a real person (who uses his real name) and generally try to engage in positive interactions.
I'll say again and again. I'm not Tony (no matter how much you want it to be true?) nor someone out to get you.
Adam - hubcapboy or hoveringguy may be able to get you into contact with nando, or maybe he simply isn't available to do it right now.
I don't recall, but Adam do you live somewhat close to them all? That could help with that? Maybe.
Nando lives an hour North and I've visited a few times which is always fun. Generally a super dude that's given a ton to the BMW community.
I know he's been involved with a huge work project that's kept him BUSY, plus his kids are in prime "activity" age and he's not going to tell them he's skipping a camping trip to answer emails (he gets a ton!). I had worked on being able to offload some of the labor in doing EWS delete and so on, but had issues getting BDM100 to work, I'll try again with a new one I just got.

Yeah I'm definitely not trying to say nando has to do anything, life and priorities change. He has done so much in the past two decades for this forum and others.
When you do get things going, maybe down the line I could help too, but my plate is completely full right now, I haven't even been able to work on mine in months.
