My 88ix is now on its 3rd ps hose. Its a short (approximately 6") return line (I believe) that I cant seem to find on Real OEM diagrams.
I lost all my PS fluid yesterday and found this hose with a 1" tear in it. I think the tear comes from the PS hose above it that has a metal covering that is rubbing on the hose, eventually tearing it. This had happened twice before so I thought I would post this up here to see if anyone had any suggestions so it doesnt happen again?
The red hose in the pics is the replacement hose I installed yesterday. The hose next to it that has the zip tie is the culprit I believe. I zip tied it to pull it away from the red house so it wont rub. You may also see a small piece of hose I zip tied to the red hose as a little bit of protection.
