    wierd......

    on accident my car was in neutral and i turned the key over and it started without pushing in the clutch????does this mean my car was an automatic????i dont think there was electric start??? any help lol

      E30s don't have clutch switches, you don't have to push them in to start.

        I leave my car in neutral when it's parked, and start it up that way. It's normal, don't worry.

        You learn something new everyday, don't you ;)

          That's a much better way to discover there is no clutch switch than the way I did it. Trying to start your car with the front end facing a wall while in first gear is not a good idea.

            thats wierd never heard of a car where u dont have to push the clutch in. oh well easier to let her warm up thanks to all.
