What Size Snows Are You Running?

I'm looking at TireRack, and the stock size is 205/55/15. That's fine, but I'm wondering what size tires you all are running. Can you get away with a taller than stock tire? etc. There aren't many choices in stock size.

    Anyone run any of these?

    205/60/15
    195/60/15
    185/60/15
    195/65/15

    Thanks!

Out of those sizes, any should be fine but 185/60 would be my last choice as it's a bit shorter.

I'm running 175/70/14 Hankook studded Winter I Pike tires. They cut through the deep snow incredibly well because they are 30mm narrower than stock. I'm really pleased with them. It is like I have a BMW Jeep that handles way better than any Jeep! They also have the correct outer diameter, and the 14" wheels fit fine. Question is do you have some steel 14" rims or some 14" bottlecaps? If you want to stay with your 15" wheels I would go as narrow as possible for winter tires. For summer I would go with the stock size of 205/55/15.

          hakkapelitta's

195/60 15" hakkapelitta's studded on aftermarket alloy rims (their ugly but do the job )

wouldnt mind going even narrower on the tires

We run Nokian WR 205/60/15 at stock ride height with Billy HD suspension with no rubbing at all. Also, rim bending problems diminished. I like the way they fill out the wells too. Next set will be Nokian WR G2.

I run 205/60/15s as well with a slight drop. They really fill the wells nicely but I think narrower would be better for the snow.
