    Ix bushing question

So my ix is getting new shocks and springs, and I want to do all the bushings as well. My question is, are the ix front bushings ix specific? Or can I use regular is bushings? Plan is to go all urethane on the whole car, and ideally would liketu usean offset bushing to get a little of the caster back from the ix suspension. Second question, where is a good source for a complete set of bushings, including subframe and rear diff? Saw some guy inn bimmerforums lencas selling some, looked decent and affordable, but shipping from eastern Europe? Dunno bout that.

you can do standard E30 bushigns, but I'd reccomend OEM M3 centered if your car isn't lowered, or offset if it is, rather than urethane.

Why not urethane? Car will be on h&r sport springs with the bilstein HD. Why offset for lower? What is the cutoff for lowering to use offset or not? This thread should probably be moved to the suspension forum.

I don't think urethane is that great for CABs - they are meant to rotate, on a rubber bushing it will twist the bushing, in a urethane bushing it will just spin, but you don't actually have a bearing in there. I also don't think many of the urethane CABs are all that much stiffer than the OE M3 rubber bushings. If you really want solid, go with the THR eyeball arms.

as far as offset vs centered, you don't want offset on a stock height car because the wheels will be pushed too far forward, and they will rub on the frame/fender liners. H&R sports are lowered enough to use offsets.
