M42 swap?

new to e30s wanting to do a swap. will the M42 work? what all needs to be done? need all the help/input/advice i can get

anything will work with enough money and time... but the question is if its worth it or not.

swapping an m42 into an ix is not worth it.

If you did a built turbo motor pushing at least 300hp, it would be worth doing for weight and balance - but it would be expensive.

It makes more sense to just turbo the m20 though..
