Yeah, to me it feels as if it hits a wall and then continues to accelerate, but the rate at which it is accelerating doesn't increase any more.

also, if thats your 88. then you do have trunk tar. and a steel spare. both are heavy as hell.

yep, spare is 39.5 lbs. I may get AAA just so I don't have to carry it. I just did plugs, wires, an o2 sensor and coil and my car feel so much better. The cap and rotor should be here monday.

or just go to a junkyard and pull a normal tire. 195/65/14 is pretty much the same size as 205/55/15.

FYI: Peak acceleration will be at peak torque, 4300rpm. It will feel almost the same after 4300, but it will be a little less as you approach redline.

you guys might want to adjust your afm if its original high mileage one. before i adjusted mine my low end power was horrible, top end was not that great either. if i remember correctly i adjusted it three clicks clock wise which would cause it to run leaner. low end is great now and top end feels nice. engine feels new again.

also use a q tip with rubbing alcohol to clean the carbon track or any dust or debris.
