Mounted short shift? Tell me how

Hi,
thought i was gonna mount me a short shift the other day but had to give up.
Anyone who has done it on an IX and have a couple of adwises?
The t-case is seriously blocking the access, do i have to drop the back of the case? And so on.. :/

I don't think you can do it without removing the transfercase

i have to replace my tcase so i'll install a ssk while im at it. :up:

Ooh.. Got to change out all the bushings for the shifter in the same time then.
