Stock M20 (iX) dyno #s? what should i expect?

A good friend of mine just opened up his own shop earlier this month, and has an AWD DynoJet.

Gonna throw the iX on there for shitz & giggles.... According to my buddy, his dyno machine reads relatively low compared to other AWD dynos in the area (Mustang etc).

I'll post results once I do it....but curious as to what ballpark #s i should be expecting?

From what I've heard a Miller maf and 19 lb injectors gets about 120whp (that's what I have in my ix) so i would imagine a little less maybe 115 depending on milliage and condition.
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Yeah i have real world hopes of breaking 100whp lol.

but in all honesty, my iX runs STRONG and its stock (w/ exception of Remus muffler), even stronger than the last iX i had which had #19 injectors, MarkD chip.....

I might do a before/after run, w/ & w/o a K&N drop in filter....just to see if that even makes a difference. I've always wanted to know if those filters really do anything.

Very curious to see the results if you do. I noticed a huge difference after I installed a Conforti chip, so it's interesting to hear you had such variation among cars with/without.

eric johnson's pretty high mile beater did around 120whp (he puts mixed random gas/diesel in that thing!). I think 125-130 would be about right for a strong, stock motor. 100-110 for a weak, tired one.

a drop in filter isn't going to do *anything* on a stock motor. BT,DT.

if you can, get the *.DRF files from the dyno operator. shouldn't be a big deal - bring a flash drive with you.

good idea on the flash drive.....maybe i won't bother throwing this K&N my friend gave me. lol. i figured it would probably have no effect.
