Info on if its possible to fit these 7-series wheels if i filled/drilled them

Have always been my favorite OEM wheels, but I have no idea what size this is & offset. I know their 16s, but not sure about the other specs. Possible to fill & redrill these to work on the iX? My guess is prob not

the offset is too low, unless you're going to run 195s on them. what would be the point in that? they are 16x8 ET20.

it's unfortunate, because they look fantastic on an E30.

ughh. thanks for letting me know the specs. Yeah i hate stretched tires. I need to get a RWD E30 to put the mods i can't put on the iX.

there are 8" wide wheels that will fit the ix fine with wide tires. look for offsets around ET30-35. I like the 949 6UL, it's cheap and light. only 15", though.

you can get the exact same wheels "style 5" in a 15x7 +30 or 32 cant remember off the top of my head. That *should* fit. I hope to do this sometime over the summer.

u didn't have an issue rubbing w/ the euroweaves? I just sold my stock basketweaves, and looking to buying the euroweaves in nogaro silver....but the ET24 had me thinking they would rub like crazy.

Also looking for winter tires for that, what size would you recommend? 195/60/15?

15x7 et24 is very different from 16x8 et20. euroweaves will rub in the rear a bit. but its not too bad. my RS' are 15x7 et25 and i havent bothered to roll my fenders. they do rub a little in hard cornering though.

its going to give you roughly the same fitment as those alpinas in your sig.

yeah my Alpinas come pretty close to the rear fenders w/ weight in the rear....and they're ET28. I would love to run spacers back there, but it would most def rub. Thats the only reason why the euroweaves had me thinking twice. Also i read somewhere that they fit all E30s except iX's but i know nando ran them on his iX

yeah, they will rub in the back a little bit. you can trim the flares and roll the fenders to fix most of it though, but you're still stuck with a 205/55 tire at the most.

I might end up running a set with snow tires.

                        Oh no.

I just picked up a set of these for my ix. I was just making calls today to re-drill. I also like meat on my wheels and wouldn't run anything smaller than 215. Am I SOL?
