nah, a 215 on a 7.5" wheel and ET38 is actually pretty conservative.
I have 225s on a 7.5" ET36 wheel, ET33 effectively (3mm spacers for brake clearance).

Bought this on eBay from Cincinatti, flying out and then driving it back to San Francisco
Plans:
Put on tasteful 16x7.5 ET38 wheels with 215/45/R16 Tires
Put on classy trunk spoiler
Give it a Dinan Performance Chip
Drive to Spokane in the winter, Drive to Idaho for Christmas and enjoy the AWD suited roads that my 2012 Merc C350 Coupe can't do :)
