    ABS Ring part of Axle

So I happened to be reading on E30tech and someone mentioned getting a bad axle to get their hands on an ABS ring.

Does the ABS ring come as part of a new axle? I am fairly certain the front drivers side ring is causing my ABS fault (guessing it is cracked or something). I recently had my passenger side axle replaced and know my drivers one is not too far behind.

Solves two issues at once... if not I want to make sure I have it on hand whenever the new axle goes in. Anyone know a part number for an ABS ring? I couldn't find it on RealOEM.

    Thanks.

yes they come with a new axle. you can't buy it seperately, but it's just pressed on.

That's good news. Not that I cannot buy it seperately, but just that it will be new when I get a new axle.

it is possible that your ring is bad but it is really unlikely. chances are you have a bad sensor or a fault in the wiring that goes to the sensors.

Thanks... replaced sensors and wiring previously... and the ABS cpu. Running out of things to throw at this.
