16x8 ET20 will definitely not fit unless you run a super small tire, such as a 185, and even then I bet it will rub the fenders like crazy.

Ok, but not rub inner fender or frame rails, or front bumber edge??

Not the best picture, but I thought I would update that the 15x8 ET35 fit perfectly, don't rub anywhere (although they are VERY close to struts).

So its time for new tires, and since you guys were so much help with the wheel selection I thought I may ask about tires. I am now trying to decide to go with 205/55/R15 or 225/50/R15. The wheels I ended up with are 15x8 et 35. Either Yokohama S. Drives in 205/55/R15 OR Toyo Proxes 4 in 225/50/R15 OR on the cheaper side Falken Ziex ZE-912 in 225. Right now I have 205/55/R15 Bridgstone turanza's which do not look stretched, but tire shops wanted to charge me extra because they are a BIT of a stretch. I like the look of the wider 225 tire, but I am just concerned about whether they will fit under the fenders (mine have been rolled slightly).

S drives are ancient and they weren't that great even when they were new. also consider 205/50R15, I know the diameter is smaller but the reality is the tire choices for 15" wheels is not good anymore and 205/50 is the most popular size, thus the most choices for better tires.

225s should fit fine though, ET35 gives you some room to play with spacers. you'll likely have to trim the rear flares and roll the lips (you can't see it from the outside).

hmmm, I REALLY don't want the tire to rub, so I guess I'll go with 205's. I do a lot of highway driving and don't really want any more fender gap so I would like to stick with a 55 sidewall. Are there any decent affordable summer tires available in this size? The place that I think has the best selection in Canada I have linked to below, but the selection is limited.

Ideally I would like to go with 225's though, and my fenders have been rolled and trimmed by the PO, but I still am unsure. I really don't want to be stuck with rubbing tires.
