    How reliable are these cars? What are the faults and short comings.?
    Float like a cadillac sting like a Bimmer!:)

    Ill say, if you get rust-free is, its way more better than any newer car..
    Thats why i love old cars, you dont need to repair electrics all the time..
    engine and drivetrain are very reliable, engine just need to have it oil change in time, or crappy oil will ruin your camshaft.. i drive about 10k miles in a year with my ix, and i change oil around 6-7k miles.
    this car has never failed on me..

      Keep the front ds spline greased, and it will be happy.

        The ix comes down to lubrication... cv shafts, splines, tc, etc. The rest is standard e30.

          General maintenance goes a long way on these cars. You'll hear it over and over again for good reason.
