    iX master cylinder piston size

Does anyone know what the size of the iX's stock brake master is? Anyone know of a larger one that will give a stiffer pedal that will bolt up to the iX booster?

I know that M3 and 750 e32 are upgrades for non-iX cars but they won't fit on our boosters. I think that e36 masters will fit out boosters but once again I have yet to verify the piston size on the e36 ones.

But does the 750 one fit the iX booster stud pattern?

Yes.. it's the E32 booster that's basically the same as the ix.

Awesome. I have a brake booster from an e32 735, I just didn't think to look at the master cylinder when I pulled it. My car isn't an iX, just 24v swapped. I'm doing an e30 M3 5 lug swap and want to go with a master cylinder closer to the e30M part that will fit the e32/iX booster.

I'm interested if you can do anything with the E36 one?

Apparently so. I'm gonna have a look at a car someone I know is parting out later this week to compare.

I'm going to pick up a used e34 master cylinder and fluid reservoir to test fitment soon. Will report back with my findings.
