Folks:

Another data point, $6K for the car (89 Lachsilber coupe, 167K miles, manual, cloth interior) $23K for performance upgrades and mechanical replacements = $10K going away. It has nice original paint and pretty stock except for manifold, injectors, etc.

It probably should have stayed in the garage, if I had the space. Maybe the new owner will get tired of it and send it back so I can plow through snow drifts in Northern NM.

I do not understand the post above... I think you are saying you got $10k for your car that you spend $29k on? Is that what you're saying?

Looks like my ix will be on the market this winter. We're in the middle of a renovation right now, but once we're on the other side, new car is next.

I'll be sure to post up here for reference when I sell... mine is really nice, get complements all the time. 130k, silver, genuinely no rust... but auto and some paint spots that you cannot see from 5-10'. We'll see, I guess.

damn! i dont remember that one going up for sale here... would have been a great buy for that much maintenance :(

What he said, I want to know what you did for modifications to reach that. Id love to see pictures even more, just because i really like seeing a nice IX that is clean.
