    Got mine too!!

been seeing what issues, fun, and mods yall have had with your ix's, now i got my own. i know i will need a lot of advice, i dont have a garage to work in, or much experience with DIY's but still willing to learn and will try. Wish i was some one like Nando things would be a little easier lol :)

think my exhaust system needs some work, its pretty loud. would like to replace plugs, wires, and hoses.

the PO maintained front diff replaced in 2010 because it locked up on another PO, right and left control arms in 2012, front inner/outer cv boots in 2012, rear cv shaft in 2012

anything that i may need to look into besides the timing & water pump transfer case? i plan on getting that checked/repaired soon.

I just would like to have it running more effeciently with a more power

Congratulations on the new Ix, and ya keep up with the timing belt on these since there an interference motor. Also with the the Ix you'll want to grease the front drive shaft every year, theirs some special grease but I always forget what its called. The splines that go into the diff are pretty much the weakest link so its a good idea to check them and grease.

Also i wanna see some pics so post them up!

Cool thanks, I wish I could do as many mods to my ix as the other E30's. Kinda considering purchasing an I/IS.

There's not much you can't do to an iX.
Motor swaps need more work with maybe adding a custom cut/welded pan, but doable.
5 bolt swaps are still in the works by a few people but possible.

Suspension options are limited compared to rwd e30s but there is plenty enough to get the ride and stance you want.

this isn't really true.. except that you can't buy cheap Chinese shit on ebay and bolt it up, you can do any of the same things to an ix as you can to a standard E30. GC makes a full suite of ix suspension parts.

I still haven't finished it yet but I still think a rwd E46 front swaybar will work on an ix for a dirt cheap upgrade.
