    Oh by the way, where do you other ix coil users have the spring adjuster positioned? And what ride height do you get from it? :)

    I think i ended up with 1.9" The koni gland nut goes just below the tube and the threaded spring sleeve sticks up like 3-4mm over the tube so I'm a little bit on the high side maybe but I think the adjuster will be around the middle. Hopefully:)

    Needs some prep and paint, then new bearings and hubs :)

    I went with 440/650 springs.
    Do you guys use the provided koni race bump stop?

    Bars change the car's diagonal dynamic weight distribution.

    A stiff rear bar will lighten the inside rear while putting weight on the inside front.

    Bars hurt traction at the end of the car they are installed on by increasing the weight split from inner to outer. This reduces the total grip at that end of the car. However, if the car reduces body roll such that a poor suspension design can make better use of the tires, then grip may go up. There are multiple effects at work.

    Each bar has an effect on all four wheels, and these effects are additive with the effects of the springs.

    The finish ix turbo guy had some problems with the handling when the inner tire lifted. The car started to drift like a rwd and when trying to counter steer it violently changed direction due to the power coming back to the front tires :P
    I want to avoid that as much as possible!

    I wouldn't worry about front innner tires lifting. if that happens it just means you're driving the car properly...

    Im not going to daily the car so that's not very important, however it will mostly be used on the street so a too stiff setup may be no good on the bumpy roads? Like loosing traction in corners because its too stiff causing the tire to "bounce off" some small bumps if you know what i mean. Usually the roads are pretty good so it might not be a real problem.

    And i also have a little fear of lifting a front inner tire but maybe not on the street :)

    Yes i will go with Koni race and shorten the housings.

    I would do 400/600.

    Many people responding to this dont have an ix. 550/750 will be really stiff - i had 600/700, it was nice on a track but a bit much to dd. I'd also pair them with konis, if you're shortening the housings (you should), get the race inserts. The ride shoud be pretty decent with lots of travel and good damping.

    Yeah thats true! So probably springs a bit on the hard side is a good starting point?
    Just wonder how thats going to perform on the street thats not as smooth as a track :P
    The car would see like 90% street use.

    Can't answer that. I'm sure the dynamics with the IX suspension is a little different. I know several people around here that don't run a rear bar at all. I think you would control that lift more with a spring then the bar, although it will help. The bar is trying to keep the car level, so if it's doing it job, but the opposite corner spring compresses on a hard turn, the bar will probably create lift......I could be totally wrong but that's how I would see it.
