Ive seen people used E87 etc and E34ix should also work, but i checked E36 rears and they seem pretty much like stock E30ix fronts in dimensions? Anyone tried those?

yup. the offset of e36 rear hub is too low. you will need a rotor with a very very short hat to make them work. after all the trouble the calipers will rub on the back of your wheels. also the center hole is the wrong size for front brake rotors. maybe you could use a rear rotor on the front?
since you have e34ix parts cars, just use those. they are perfect in pretty much every way to work with e36/46 m3 front rotors. you will just need to fabricate a custom carrier bracket for use between the caliper and the strut housing.
there is one downside to using e34 hubs. it limits your wheel choice to e36 style wheels. you will need about an et46 offset or so to tuck them under the fenders. this is perfect for me as i am going to run a set of non staggered e36 17x8 alpinas.

I made custom center plate for my e36 front rotors with my e87 hub.. going to change stock hub back on place with welded plate and machined 5 lug pattern.. I want the front offset as low as possible..Comment

I found a 308mm rotor that will fit, hight is 42mm compared to stock E30 ix 36 i think? Dont know if that would work with E36 hubs but if you say caliper clearence is bad this might be a bad idea even with low rotors. But maybe E34ix or E87 would be the best together with a ~45mm rotor hight? You should be able to fit a bigger caliper than stock with that setup, right?
I have one spare used E34ix hub, dont think i will use it as i already ordered E87 hubs

You can't just swap hubs... you need to consider the hub, rotor, caliper and wheel together as an assembly.Comment

I was thinking e30 m3 or z3 for rear hubs when I last looked into how much offset would be there.
The m3 has an obvious brake setup, and the z3 has been done before. IMO - just get a nice BBK, and skip the extra lug bolt. Unless there's a wheel that you HAVE to have, and it only comes in 5 lug, there's no point. a nice BBK will be far lighter than a heavy stock 5 lug brake setup anyway, and the consumables usually cost less too.Comment

low offset means it pushes the wheels further out. a spacer would make it worse.
