Well I just called corporate and they "don't have access to that information". On the 92, 93 notice how the quote says calender year, not model year.. Nando, I'm curious as to how you know those numbers are wrong. I believe you, because I see way too many on craigslist and at the junkyard for there to only be 2500. But I still wonder what the exact number is.Comment

Wiki says in total (all e30's) 2,339,520 were produced. Do you guys really think only a few thousand were ix's? Doubtful.sigpic

it's all posted in another thread.. I knew for years the other numbers weren't accurate, they just don't make any sense. I saw one where they only made 84 '88 cars or something like that. or the 4 1991 model year cars for example.Comment

when you compare the production numbers with classic mustangs(even shelbys) i think it is still counts as rare car
other than in Colorado i have never seen another ix on the road, i think that guy on bimmerfourms was just butt hurt about the recent(last 4 years) jump in priceComment

it was in the xi section. but actually, that piqued my memory. the other number didn't include anything from Japan. There were a lot of Japanese ix's. I know a couple guys in Canada who imported some.Comment
