    Clunk, any other ideas?

    Rear end, clunk upon take off/decel, i want ideas and ill rule them out as i have a lot of new parts back there.

    I had a clunk from up front. Never tightened a nut down. Look for obvious stuff...?

      rear driveshaft and guibo replaced, rear subframe bushings replaced, brakes are all new, transfer case bushing replaced, engine mounts replaced,

        diff cover mount bushing?

        Did you loosen the diff to subframe bolts?

          im gonna check those tomorrow i never loosened them, the ix diff bushing is solid, cant see that making a clunk,

                  how about the brackets that hold the main subframe bolts on? did you put those washers/spacers between the brackets and the subframe bushings?

                    you mean part #12? i put that back in, but theres no washer between that bracket that connects to the pinch weld and the bushing

                      I was also going to suggest diff mounting.

                      I dunno if the e30's had the same issue but with e36s it was common for the diff bolt mounting bolt to break.

                        yeah, #12. it's not really a washer, but I couldn't think of a better word for it.

                        did you use ix subframe bushings or RWD?

                            I was chasing a rear end clunk on my first e30 for months.....ended up being a missing hubcentric ring on aftermarket wheels. I'm sure this isn't ur issue but just thought I'd add that sometimes ppl overlook the easy stuff
