WTB: Auto T-case

I know this is not a sale section but I feel like this would get lost there. If anyone has a working IX transfer case for sale please let me know. I am in need of one for a friend, his car is down and this is the last thing he needs to drive it. The car is located in Nashua NH and I am willing to travel around new england area to get it. Check Ebay, I have seen a bunch of them on there. Whether or not they are going to actually work is a gamble.

There's only one with a bad VC right now.

EBay has one. Transmission and transfer case for $700 plus $162 for shipping. The transmission is bad so maybe they would separate it from the transfer case and you could get it a bit cheaper.

I myself am doing a 5-speed swap of an auto ix and both transfer cases tested fine but, I think I should hoard the auto VC case for its good VC and other internals. I have not cracked either open YET to see how stretched the chains are.

I have an auto ix parts car that still has the tcase in it. I'm not too sure of the condition or the milage since the cluster was gone when i bought it, i wanna say its around 145k but i could be wrong. I'm located in New Mexico so if I can ship it if you want. The whole car looks like it was pretty well taken care of though, no rust or anything like that. If it's something you're interested in let me know and I can get to work on pulling it out.

I saved up seven transfer cases when I was into iX cars. Only three cases had durable VC units in them.

Maybe my luck was bad, but you might be better served buying a new VC and popping it in.
