New Wheels and Hubcentric Rings Question

The day has finally come, my dream wheels are mounted on the iX! They're 15x7 et35 OZ Rallys, so just a touch poked out from stock "iX weaves," but the same dimensions. Very 80s/90s rally - just my style.

I carefully measured the wheel center bore and it is about 59mm in diameter. The E30 center bore is 57.1mm, so they're less than 2mm different. However, above 65mph I get some pretty serious vibration (coming mostly from the front). Do I need hub centric rings? And if so, do they even make them that thin? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    I dig those.

Hit up Ryan at Motorsport Hardware, aka kalib0y, aka sales@motorsporthardware.com. I'm not seeing a 59mm-57.1mm ring listed on his site, but I'm running 1.5mm thick rings on my E28 so I know they make them that thin. He'd be my go to if I had spacer/hub ring questions.

maybe have the hole bore'd out a little more to allow for a thicker hubcentric ring to work?

google search found this this shop has them, assuming it is actually 59.1. But they are UK based i think. But they do exist.

If you can buy a metal set that are 57.1mm ID but are too big on the OD, you could have them machined down to suit. A machine shop would not charge you much for that. Just have to find a small machine shop cause a big one might not be bothered with such a small job.

Just ordered a set of these bad boys! Let's hope they do the trick. Thanks for the link!

Installed the 57.1-59.1mm rings (linked above) and they worked perfectly! The car felt solid as a rock at all speeds. Highly recommended!
