Door Lock Rebuild Kit

Are the door lock rebuild kits specific to iX or non-iX cars? Does central locking matter? I found left and right kits on ebay but the seller says it won't work on a late model iX. Seems wrong to me but does anyone here know?

No, I’ve rebuilt a door lock and trunk lock, none of it is “iX specific” just specifically keyed to your car will labeled tumblers.

yeah, no such thing as an "ix" door lock. But it's a question worth asking - I've been burned many times in the past assuming there wasn't an "ix" specific part...
