    Not exactly true, at least not for the Touring. BMW only sold 6,036 E46 xi Tourings in the US. A clean 5-speed Touring regularly sells in the $8-$10k region.

      There are still far more of those than any variety of E30 ix.

      $8-$10k? I have a hard time believing that. I still wouldn't care if one was wrecked. They're just not special.

        Chris, we get it you don't like e46s. That doesnt mean theyre not valuable, nor desired by others.

          The body color urethane fender flares with exposed fasteners aren't my style but to each his own.

          I'd rather throw an Xi subframe under an actual M3... (and drop in an LS with Trailblazer oil pan and front diff, but I digress)
