    it's interesting, but I wouldn't call it sweet - it's boring to tears!! :p

I've always suspected that video was the reason they failed to sell any in the states. the best part was the ice racing which they only showed a few seconds of :(

It's more like a corporate training video, with that goofy muzac.

They failed in the states due to the fact that you could get a M3 for 2k more. That and most people just got a truck insted of a awd car.

"One lap" on my supercharged iX A Touring. I made a viscous coupling with 91 % fill. Feels right..

I just learned why my OBC beeps at me when it is 36deg (icy road warning)... I always thought that it meant let the motor warm up Ha.

I will give you the cliff notes for it. push M MPH on your obc, then using the 1-1000 numbers at the bottom type in the top speed you want. Then push the M MPH button again, it should light up red then. Now when you go past that speed your car will beep at you and the little red square will flash.

that..and the fact that AWD wasn't yet a "craze". it wasn't reasonable to own an AWD car if you didn't live in the dessert or the artic, so people bought rwd and fwd cars (trucks a different story).

nowadays soccer moms in California brave the artic 70 degree tundra and pot hole infested pavement in AWD cars and suv's because car companies suckered em in telling them "...just in case...AWD"

nowadays BMW AWD xi's are everywhere, and if the ix was dug from the grave and sold today it would sell much more. i guess the ix was just ahead of its time..in a way

im glad they failed, it makes the car that much more unique, valuable, and cooler
