    Ix Gear Ratios?

Alright Pics coming soon of my Now boosted Ix
but the issue im having is the gears are just too damn short with likely around 200 hp i figure (7 Pounds)
Is there a diffrent final drive ratio for say the euro ones
Or a diffrent gear set in a Standard Geartrag 260 i can swap in?
Mostly cause i dont like buzzing down the freeway at 4k
    yeah 90
So soon as i get my head gasket replace(Its blown)
and my new head studs in.
Ill have some pictures up and a dyno graph hopefully
It needs a fair bit of work yet but ill get it rolling soon.

    Colin

    Also nice to meet everyone.

    welcome.
Boosted IX can't wait to see some pictures

    IX comes with, I believe, 3.64/ 3.73/ or 3.91
the tourings have either 3.91, or 4.10

early euro manuals had 3.64s, early euro autos had 3.73s (very rare)
later manuals (us and euro) had 3.91s, autos 4.10s

tourings have the same ratios AFAIK.

200hp isn't a whole lot really. a 3.91 would be fine IMO, but I'm used to a similar amount of power with 4.10s :p

Running low boost due to shit head gasket so far.
When i have the new head gasket expect 300! ish.
and 200 at the wheels. currently.
Its i just blast thru the gears so damn quick its really kinda F1 like.
and having longer gears would be nice.
lower crusing rpm is what im after
