    Powder coat trim?

I have the chrome trim on the doors and windows. Would it be possible to get this powder coated? Not sure it would withstand the heat in the oven.

Also what about the bumper rubber plastic trim, can this be powder coated too

You can get some black parts from a late model.

piles of guys blacked out their trim with flat black paint. essentially the same as on the car. all it requires is a mild scuff to get the paint to take on the surface. there's a million diy threads on it. have even seen bbq paint used.

you can probably still order black out 318is trim which is the look you're shooting for. if getting the trim new or used is too expensive, powder coating definitely will be unless you diy.

rubber trim will require a plastic paint. loads to choose from.

But they are one of the most visible parts of the car.
You can probably sell your chrome parts if they are in perfect condition.

They are actually not chrome, but polished aluminum.
Maybe, it's possible to anodize it.

Here in Australia the shadowline used comes at a premium. This is why I wanted to scuff up my current chrome trim and euro rubber bumper, door handles etc in all satin black, at least I know it will last years and years.
