    'i' lip removal

Besides crashing into a concrete side walk (ha, ha), can someone tell me how to carefully remove the 'i' lip temporarily so I can install my fog lights. I'd rather not have to replace the clips as they are practically brand new.

I know that I need to pull it off. I'm wondering how to do it without breaking clips. Also, you have to remove it to access where the mounting screws go. They are in front covered by the lip spoiler.

Why the shit would you need to remove the lip to install fogs? Mounting screws under the lip?

Get your thumb behind the lip on to one of the clips. Push down and pull the lip out with the other hand. Depending on how old your clips are you can probably just give it a good yank from the front.

Get under your car and look at it you'll see how it works...thats what you should have done in the first place IMO

seriously, it just pulls off. if the clips, break, they break.. they're only like 10 cents each! it would be seriously easy to steal somebody's is lip, it takes like 5 seconds to rip the whole thing off.. start on the sides and work towards the middle.

Thanks for all the help, they are now installed. I just need to work on the wiring. Dan, you are correct, however the blanks were easier to remove with the lip pulled off.
