Idiot Previous Owners piss me off...

    Taurus side skirts? Check.

Drilling 12 self taping stainless steel screws through the TOP side of the skirts into the body causing rust? Check.

Totally not disclosing the fucking HOLE of rust on the inside of the drivers door, shoving a napkin in it and covering it with white tape? Check.

Putting Taurus side skirts improperly mounted over a rusty quater panel directly behind the drivers door next to the subframe bushing/mount? Check.

Getting a :hitler: moment on an online forum? Check.

So the question is, why do things wrong? Discuss.

If your going to spend a good bit of money on a car and your able to look it over before you buy it.
Then its your fault for not looking it over from top to bottom.

I totally acknowledge and agree with you, man. When it comes down to brass tacks, it is COMPLETELY my fault and none other. Beyond the idiotic method in which everything was put together. And frankly, of course I feel like a douche. My wife and newborn are planning to be in this vehicle on a regular basis and I haaate to worry about crap when they mob around. Honestly, I had to travel a distance to even look at it and didn't plan on viewing it at night. I knew better, but it still doesn't speak much of his character. Again, a NAPKIN with white tape (car is white) over it. Just more or less a dick move on his part, yeah?

Not to mention the money he dropped to paint right over rusted areas instead of fixing them. I think after all is said and done my original or at least base point remains - why do things wrong? It's not even THAT much faster. I've had my fair share of "short cuts" and quick fixes while working on a car. 10 out 10 they end up making you grab your ankles. I mean, he duct taped the old, cracked and torn up coolant/vacuum/heater hoses under the intake instead of just spending the $35 to replace them and/or delete the majority of that mess. It's not the rust, which I've since stopped from spreading, or the shotty engine fixes, or even him only putting 3 of 4 hub rings so the whole car didn't shake and wobble at 20+ mph... it's the attitude. The, "I'm your regular everyday e30 fanatic". When in reality, it was a miracle that he isn't driving a honda.

Pictures to come as soon as daylight comes.
