getting rid of the diving boards?

OK. IM not very experienced on the body work on our cars.. so any help would be awesome. I dont know what the best way to go? with plastic bumbers or euro bumbers. Which ones easier and what kind of fab work is needed? And if i change bumbers do i have to change the valence on the front. I also want a rear apron.. i hate the look with out it. Any suggestions guy? thanks
The CAR IS AN 87 325IS

you'll have to cut and trim the rear bumper bc of the late model lower rear arches, but the fronts bolt up i think, and you'll need to change your front valence as well for the plastic bumpers. and the late model rear apron welds on.

Here's the writeup for the plastic bumpers. http://www.r3vlimited.com/tech/bumper/bumper1.htm

And the chrome euro bumpers are a basicly a direct bolt on. The writeup, http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=112187

The down side to euro bumpers are trying to get ahold of a set. They can be costly (for what little they are) used and they use to be sold through Bavauto new for $800. But i think last someone bought a set they went up in price. For the apron and front spoiler, You can get Mtech1,Zender,Kamei,BBS,EBS,and there are others that was made way back. But none of them can't be bought new so you'll have to find used ones. And they are kind of hard to come by...

No they didn't have an rear apron. And here is the lip, it's kind of hard to see at the angle that it's in the picture but it kicks out in the front, but the stock 86-87 e and i lip will work on it also.

As for the rear, the shock holes aren't that noticable...

The plastics would be easier exept the back bumper and alot cheaper...

Where the euro stuff will start to rack up the $$$$
