you can always use the rear skinny chrome bumpers from a convertible since it had the lower rear wheel arches ;) I think I still have my front, rear bumpers & front steel valence available for sale, but I live in SE Asia so shipping could be costly.

There are some small differences in the 88 up valance, the 88 has screw holes for the bumper surrounds, where as the 89 dosn't so if you stuck and 89 valance on an 88 and tried to reuse the 88 diving board you'd have to drill holes. This dosn't affect plastic bumpers in anyway. But I don't want to hear some one complaining saying they got an 89 valance for the 88 and the surrounds wouldn't fit.85 325e 2.7 ITB'd stroker

Cabrios have the higher rear arches, and the euro bumpers will fit on the front of any E30, as long as you have a euro front valance.
The only weak point with rear euro bumpers was that they were made to fit the higher rear arches. But, if all cabrios have the low rear arch, then it should fit on any car with a low rear arch - mind you, probably some modifications required.
Kinda funny, the cabrio has all these little exceptions.
So, yes, logically, the cabrio bumpers should fit. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong.- Sean HayesComment

the cabrio rear bumper should deffinately be long enough, but there might be a gap from the bumper to the rear valance since there is a noticeable difference in the height when comparing the pre88 euro and post88 plastic bumpers.Originally posted by Ben CarufelYeah, I'd definitely like to hear if anyone else has some input on this...

That's in the USA. We're talking about the EU.Originally posted by BS87Probably not, because until 10/90 the cabrio's had the older, smaller, ugly rear valence (and diving boards =p)

As previously mentioned, I have the cabriolet metal bumpers for sale......they are currently painted diamantschwarz....but I do have a brand new rear bumper trim (never fitted since I changed to the M-Tech 2 kit).
Since you live so far away, I'd let it all go for US$175 which includes front & rear bumpers, new rear bumper trim, 1 yr old front bumper side trim (center piece is original), front steel valence..........possibly fog lights if they haven't been sold yet........lemme know. I also have my 2yr old M-Tech 1 front spoiler, but it is pending sale locally.
Regarding fitment..........like I said before they are for the lower wheel arches on the cab so that should not be a problem with your arches. As for the back side and any gap issues with your different (or later model) valence, I have no clue.
