Late model euro plate filler question..

Can someone measure where they drilled their US holes are on their filler?

    Would be appreciated.

mark the white tabs on the car with paint and lay the plate filler against it where it is supposed to go. then look at the rear of the plate filler for the marks and drill 8)

no measuring, just hold the filler in place, mark from the inside and drill.

Alright, yeah...it's easier now that i'm doing it...just thought I might need some measurements.

Did you guys leave the white tabs?

I put them on the inside, if you leave them where they are the plate filler will stick out. there's barely enough thread to engage the screws though, might be a better idea to switch to some nuts and bolts.

Yeah, I left it...and there was a tiny bit of bulge until I used the who holes on the top of the filler(near the license plate lights) ...that tightened it up nice and snug to the body.

            Thanks for the help.

Remove that trunk liner, and knock those plastic screw holders out of there!

Get some nice hardware to secure plate. A flathead bolt, some washers, and some nuts do great.

Drill a hole for the bolts. Line up to space first and mark before of course.

Mount. Put bolt through license plate, through filler, through body, then put the washer and nut on, then re-install liner.

Sweet, could have used that couple hours ago slacker.

:D It's cool, I just used the white things and it still looks cool.
