popout windows

Just curious why I dont see these anymore. Unless you guys have them and are just not taking pics with them open. I think thats a pretty cool feature.

It allows me to get back into my car pretty easily when my central locking system locks the car except for the trunk. Then I just put my arm through the ski pass through and open the pop-open windows, then unscrew the window, then unlock the door. Definitely comes in handy.

I got the best of both worlds with my 88 325, popout windows and late model everything else(except bumpers, but that is easy enough to change)

Me too, I think all non airbar cars have them. They stay open from July to October.

I have them, and have almost never opened them. I think they look really retarded when they're open.

Never liked them myself either. Too bad you guys weren't around when I had my '85 318. Could never find anyone to trade for fixed.

I have them on mine, love them on the highway with the sunroof tilted when the weather is nice, creates good airflow through the car

Have them, never open them though because they'll buzz or rattle. They're sealed tight now.
