Why are you bothering using an 88 rear bumper if you're just going to tuck it anyhow?

The 88 rear bumper is shorter, and so are the shocks, and it will tuck in farther.

I'll get pics of the two of them next to each other when I do the rear.

Looks hot Josh. The surrounds look great so that is a very nice tuck job.

CNC'ed brackets are a bit overkill dont you think? Personally I re-constructed mine with 1/8x3/4 bar, Bend it starting at where it mounts to the valence, then weld on the last piece that mounts to the airdam support bar. Then I welded in the center section. Works fine, took about 1hour to make all 3. When I tucked my bumpers a year or two ago I shimmed the brackets on the lowest hole that mounts to the valence, this pushes the bracket up in the front portion making the gap much smaller, play with a series of washers and you can almost eliminate the gap, then with the use of a euro plate its almost no problem at all.

Not when I can have them made nearly for free. I just have to pay for the 3 little blocks of aluminum, which I can also probably get for free.

I did my rear today so my bike rack would sit safer. Forgot how bad the oil smells.

                          Sold it.
