My paint arrived today and im going to do it tonight but I've got questions about the mounting... whats the best way to get the exact fit so its snug to the corner of the trunk other than just marking and drilling and hopeing it works and what should i do once the holes are drilled, is there anything i should put on the drill holes to prevent rust and or water sepage? couldnt find a DIY or usefull topic... any help please...
before I go and drill holes in my trunk...

I made a template off an extra trunklid I had and laid it out on my trunk and drilled away. Somehow it turned out perfectComment

Was it perfectly mounted on the old one? Make sure. The is Lip on my trunk is not mounted correctly. you dont need to worry about washers if your spoiler is complete, on the underside there should be a layer of rubber (like matting), it should provide all the sealing you need.Just a little project im working on
