    Had to re-sand a lot of areas with proper power tools after suspecting more rust and remove the hidden rust layers.

    Gutted the trunk and discovered body holes under tail lights after removing bubbling paint, tons of rust under plastic cover on trunk lock hinge... removed as much as I could from there.

    For tail light side rust I sanded the crap out of it, bondo it and primed/painted it.. I can't believe I had hole in the car like that.. terrible. I will re-focus on trunk later since for not it's covered in rust convertor but I'm sure I missed some little rust spots.\

    On better note:



    wrap is in the house ;)

    Have to prep the hood/roof on Saturday then we will start wrapping top of the car + trunk.

    Migrated parts from stripped out M-Sport 540I, mint everything:



    No wife, no problem. Just mask the floors:



    Even with low mileage E34 doors already rusting, sand it, convert it and coat it with rubberized coating. You think your body shop will do it when you are getting a paint job?
