Sorry no pictures (I have few boring one of coating fender in rust removal solution but will save those for later).

The good news is that I found pretty mint fender to replace the one that was hit! 10+ junkyards visited around and this one still had some rust in the in-famous areas.

This weekend and week will be very busy for me, I have to paint/recondition two rear doors (there is 0 rust on them whew!) recondition and paint two fenders, side skirts, install the wrapped trunk and wrap all four doors!

Next Sunday, we will be swapping doors in so the car /should/ have everything wrapped minus the roof (50/50)/bumpers and C pillars.

    I'm excited.

That's around the same price I'm going to end up paying for this job minus tons of labor. Wrap + tools = not expensive in NY.

Honestly, (take this with grain of salt) flat black seems to look a bit dull if will rattle can it. The wrap I'm using is flat black opaque and it has a bit of a shine that does not give out 'primer' look.

Compare wrapped mirror to painted one I posted:

Read LOTS about it, get some equipment and PRACTICE! Grab a spare hood or whatever, and work on it until it is perfect, the take your fenders off and do them...then dive into the body.

When painting a car it sometimes helps to know how to paint ;)

4 door family car, gangsta sytlee.

My first thought was "Yuk, how distasteful" and then seeing how you are doing it right, I am thinking more like "rock on, bruddah!"

Please bust some decent pics when closer to finished, I really do wanna see this thing.

M-Sport mirror after 2 attempts of complete repaint, came out flawless

Black on top is from flash, bottom is covered in tape and not part of the paint.
