    spray painting techniques

I'm spray painting my seats with dye and was wondering how to best work around curves so that you dont get any running effect. I have a limited amount of dye so don't have much to practice with.

Basically. Just don't load so much on that it will run.

If it does start to run, clean that shit up asap- preferably with a damp magic eraser...

actually, no. let it dry first, then wet sand it smooth, and recoat. doing anything to the paint when it's wet is only going to make things worse.

Do it right and buy more dye if you have to. Light coats are going to require a lot of painting to get a nice ample coverage.

thanks for the advice. I ended up doint multiple thin coats. Took me a whole day to spray the front and back seats but I'm happy with the results. As for runoffs, I just waited for it to dry and sprayed over it with more coats. This covered it up pretty well. I have to post pics soon.
