They match 100% factory matches but they do not match old and faded paint. It's not like a body shop mixing custom paint to deal with aged old faded paint. If it didn't match your car, its your paint's problem, not theirs.

eh, permit got some stuff from paintscratch and i wasn't impressed with the quality of it at all. there's a local place, they use ppg, they match to a sample or pull the code out of the book. 30 bucks for a quart, and they'll pump it into cans for 6 a piece. pretty good deal.

my paintscratch stuff has always matched perfectly to my car. but other than the base coat it's not all that great, the clearcoat with flex additive gets hard and starts to crack, they also sell you SEM primer at a huge markup.

I wouldn't paint a whole valance with it, smaller things you can do but it gets harder the more surface area you have to cover. it's also not much cheaper than having it done professionally..

I have nando's old iS lip that he painted with paintscratch paint and I'd say its about as perfect a match to the paint on my body panels that it gets. It doesn't match the valance perfectly but the valance doesn't match the body either.
