    Need help of r3v guru's!

So long story short, got into a crappy fender bender tonight. Some asshole kid in an altima stopped short and you know the rest of the story...

What can I do to realign the bumper? The bumper shocks didn't do too well of a job which caused my bumper to transit downwards into the valance.

Wrong kind of bumper to tuck...

You will probably need a new shock for that side. Where it is sticking out, it has to slide into a another part that is attached to the fender. You should pull your bumper off to see if any thing is broken or if it just poped out. It is just two t55 torx bolts in the bottom of the bumper.

Also you shouldn't be calling the other kid the asshole when you hit him.

Do local home depots carry torx heads?

Wouldn't you just use your Victorinox swiss army knife?

Check to make sure yours aren't the Hex instead of the Torx.

Alright so I got the torx screws out by using an allen wrench but the side just won't budge. I've tried everything, although the other side moves freely.

Pull harder? Should come out with the bolts removed, but it might be stuck due to rust and/or the crash.

DON'T buy the off brand torx heads. TRUST ME!! I had my set stolen in the yard when I was removing an engine. I also had to remove the bumpers too. So I grabbed a cheap set of them at SEARS(yard was closing) and all they did was strip. Since you know the correct size spend it one a hardened proper one and you'll save from cursing the day away.

I also have a set of inverted torx by Lisle, very good never strip and a SNUG fit. The one below it a two piece design that fits a hardened head into the driver. This makes it insanely strong because the head was tempered

I personally would buy the above T55 and this set to have every single one that would would need.

thanks everyone, got it off with some more force and realligned everything with no damage done to the shocks or anything else. I'll be sure to get a set of proper torx heads when the time comes, but until then these allen wrenches will have to suffice.
