    Adjusting hood

I haven't even looked at this yet but how would I adjust the front of the hood to be a bit further down [closer to the grilles]

I'm thinking if you loosen the bolts and slide it back a centimeter or so that would bring it more front, yeah it seems right in my head.

Just loosen the bolts on the hinge and move it around. It's a bitch to get it right.

Does the VIS carbon fiber hood fit well? Are there any other carbon hoods for a e30 that are about 400-500 bucks?

its a VIS, ive seen it and played around with it, hell i washed it. It fits pretty well, of course there is the "defect" on the rear passenger corner of the hood, and the passenger side of the hood sits a tad too high, but for what it weighs, it looks pretty good. Like matt said, it just needs a little adjusting. Matt, take some pictures of the thing allready!!!

VIS makes the only cheap carbon fiber hoods... you get what you pay for.

you don't need to touch any bolts to adjust the front of your hood. there are two bump stops in the front of the car, they are threaded. simply twist them in/out to adjust the front of your hood to line up with the fenders.

                  Thanks guys

Yes it's a ViS, picked it up new from the guys who always sell them on ebay. They're local so I just went and grabbed it to avoid shipping, paid $450. I'm lovin it.
