I'm tempted but of course you get what you pay for and it might fit like crap....
    Anybody have any experience?

Dtm fiberwerks is Ary's garbage. They come with no mounting hardware or provisions for factory mounting. There are no mounting points for factory hardware anyways.

These are horrible. You can find many of these for sale by kids that thought they were too good to pass up at that price only to realize how much work they would take and give up.

Searchthe for sale sections, you should be able to find several for sale at a much reduced price that still won't be worth it. These are not worth the price of free.

Ary and the shipping companies that profit from these pieces being sold and shipped over and over again are the only ones comic away happy.

you get what you pay for. that being said, if you find a skilled enough body shop, they can get it to work. but that takes time & skills, and that equals more money.

it will probably cost more in additional bodywork to make it fit right, than the cost of a real mtech II kit. and then you still have a shitty, poor quality fiberglass replica.

Nando is right. I bought the air dam from the dealer a few years back for 400 with all of the brackets, gaskets, and mounting hardware primered for $400.

You can get the real air dam from Tischer for 330 plus 15 shipping here

Check the bumper but you can probably get that for cheap too.

Definitely less than Ary's and body work.

I didn't know that you can still purchase MT2 stuff brand new still. Do you know if you can buy the MT2 rear valence new too?

              Front Bumper: $390.12

Rear Bumper with integrated apron: $432.34

Off topic, but Is lips $113.22

              Mtech 2 skirts: 250 each

              Front fender pods $50

              http://www.trademotion.com/parts/ind...&siteid=214672

              Door pods $150

              http://www.trademotion.com/parts/ind...&siteid=214672

              Rear fenders $129

              http://www.trademotion.com/parts/ind...&siteid=214672

So there you go, you can get a complete MT2 kit brand new for $2300ish plus a bit on shipping and the extra bits.

The parts are well cheaper than it would be to buy Ary's stuff. You could buy these from Blunt too. He could probably get an even better price. I think Tischer BMW uses the weight of the parts in the shipping calculation and not the size which when it comes to oversize parts shipped they cannot be beat as they are losing a good amount of money on it.

I agree, original mtech2 is the best way to go. However I think the rear mtech2 apron/bumper is NLA.

Front bumper and lower valance cover in once piece ? Looks legit and probably half the work of the real one. Do it.

It may have been unavailable for a period of time, it was over $800 too. Both Pelican and Tischer show it. Usually I get an NLA error from Pelican.

Only ever go factory MT2. Honestly if I stubbled upon an E30 with one of these reps for sale I would pass like it had AIDs. Too much trouble, too much possible shady work done to get it to fit. Vlad's 4 door build was a good example how much work is involved.

TL;DR join E30zone.net and find someone willing to ship you a kit from the UK.

I have this kit already, the po put it on.

So here we are, for 0$ should I figure out how its supposed to go on, or should I go to a junkyard and get the orignal stuff?

Its held on by harware store bolts and screws.
